When a child is falling behind in reading, it doesn’t feel like a small academic delay. It feels like a crisis for the whole family. Evenings become battles. Homework becomes a source of dread. Confidence drops. Parents start to wonder what they missed—and children begin believing something is wrong with them.
Families don’t need another generic program, another label, or another apology from a system that didn’t step in early enough.
They need a rescue plan.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked with children who had already tried everything: school reading interventions, tutors, apps, specialists, test prep, and well-meaning programs that were never designed for dyslexic or language-diverse learners. Parents found me when they were exhausted, discouraged, and out of options. These are the children I’ve built my reputation on—the ones for whom nothing else worked.
That reputation began in Florida, where schools, psychologists, and neuropsychologists often called me “the last stop”—not because I fix children (children aren’t broken), but because I know how to rescue their skills, confidence, and identity as capable learners. Today, I continue that same work in Scottsdale, Arizona, where I see clients in person, as well as nationally and internationally via Zoom, with tremendous success. My virtual work is every bit as effective because of the precision, structure, and coaching process I’ve developed over many years.
“Rescue” is not a slogan. It describes what happens when a child receives the right instruction at the right time, delivered clearly, calmly, and in a sequence the brain can follow.
WHAT A DYSLEXIA RESCUE REALLY MEANS
A true rescue has three essential components:
Stability
Children need a clear, predictable, step-by-step method that stops guesswork and calms the nervous system. When instruction becomes logical and successful, frustration drops quickly.
Strength
Skills are built in a structured sequence—phonology, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension—so each layer supports the next. When the sequence is correct, progress becomes steady and visible.
Support at Home
Parents must be empowered. With the right guidance, daily practice becomes short, calm, and successful. This partnership is one of the reasons Dyslexia Rescue creates powerful results, both in person and on Zoom.
This combination is why children who have struggled for years begin to show meaningful change—often within the first month.
WHY PARENTS FEEL SUCH RELIEF WHEN THEY FINALLY FIND THE RIGHT HELP
Parents often tell me they notice a shift quickly:
• Their child is more confident.
• Home becomes calmer.
• Reading no longer triggers fear or shame.
• Success finally feels possible.
• The child begins showing new skills—real, measurable ones.
This is the difference between trying random strategies and following a structured, scientifically grounded rescue plan tailored to how the child’s brain learns.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I know this world from the inside. As someone with dyslexia myself, I understand the confusion, overwhelm, and self-doubt that can take hold. That experience shaped everything I teach today. It’s why I see what others miss. It’s why children who have failed many times before finally feel understood—and finally succeed.
A rescue is not just an emergency intervention.
It is an act of restoration.
IF YOUR CHILD IS STRUGGLING, YOU ARE NOT OUT OF OPTIONS
If your child is behind in reading, discouraged, or losing confidence, a rescue is not only possible—it can begin now. Children don’t need to wait months or years for change. With the right approach, they can experience meaningful progress within their first month.
Your child is not behind because something is wrong with them.
Your child is behind because they have not yet been taught in the way their brain needs to learn.
That’s what Dyslexia Rescue does.
It gives them that chance.
