Dyslexia Rescue® Privacy Policy

Dyslexia Rescue® respects the privacy of the families and individuals we serve. This Privacy Policy explains how Dyslexia Rescue, a project of Restoring Flow Ministries, collects, uses, protects, and shares personal information through our websites, forms, educational services, communications, and related online platforms.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Dyslexia Rescue and Restoring Flow Ministries websites and to personal information collected in connection with Dyslexia Rescue programs, applications, consultations, educational services, and communications.
Dyslexia Rescue is a project of Restoring Flow Ministries, an Arizona nonprofit organization.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that parents, guardians, prospective clients, clients, and other individuals voluntarily provide to us. Depending on the service requested, this information may include:
Parent or guardian name
Mailing address
Email address
Telephone number
Child’s name, age, and grade level
Information about a child’s reading, writing, spelling, or other educational skills
Information concerning previous educational evaluations, diagnoses, interventions, tutoring, special-education services, IEPs, 504 Plans, speech or language concerns, or other information a parent or guardian chooses to provide
Enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and program information
Communications submitted through forms, email, telephone, Zoom, social media, or other communication channels
We ask parents and guardians to provide only information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate or provide the requested educational services.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Payment information submitted directly through a payment processor is processed according to that provider’s privacy and security practices. Dyslexia Rescue does not intentionally store complete credit-card or bank-account information on its own servers.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our websites or interact with our online content, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our website host, analytics providers, advertising platforms, or other service providers. This may include information such as IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interactions with our website or advertisements.
Cookies and similar technologies may also be used to operate the website, understand website usage, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve our services.
3. How We Use Information

We do not sell personal information for money.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our websites, application forms, and enrollment processes are intended for parents, legal guardians, and other adults and are not intended for children to use independently to submit personal information.
Parents and guardians may provide information about their children when requesting or participating in Dyslexia Rescue services.
Children may participate in Dyslexia Rescue educational services with the knowledge and authorization of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian remains responsible for authorizing the child’s participation, whether or not the parent is physically present during an online lesson or other educational service.
Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through our websites, forms, or other online channels.
If we learn that personal information has been submitted directly by a child under 13 without appropriate parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to address the information in accordance with applicable law.
Parents or legal guardians may contact us regarding personal information concerning their child.
5. Student Recordings
Dyslexia Rescue does not routinely record students, website visitors, or participants as a condition of receiving services.
In limited circumstances, a private instructional session may be recorded when a parent or legal guardian has expressly agreed to the recording.
When a recording is intended for use in educational courses, training materials, promotional materials, or other media, the recording and its permitted uses are governed by a separate written agreement or media authorization with the parent or legal guardian.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy constitutes consent to record a student or grants Dyslexia Rescue or Restoring Flow Ministries rights to a student’s image, voice, or likeness.
6. How We Share Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers that assist us in operating our organization and delivering our services.
These providers may include companies that provide:
Website hosting and website services
Customer relationship management and communications
Scheduling
Video conferencing
Cloud storage
Payment processing
Social-media and advertising services
Technical and administrative support
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful legal process, protect the security of our systems, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of Dyslexia Rescue, Restoring Flow Ministries, our clients, or others.

Dyslexia Rescue uses third-party platforms and service providers in connection with its operations. These may include HighLevel/LeadConnector, Zoom, Google services, Stripe, Meta platforms, LinkedIn, YouTube/Google, Dropbox, WordPress, and other providers used for website hosting, communications, scheduling, advertising, storage, or administration.
When you interact directly with a third-party platform, that company’s own privacy policy and terms may also apply.
For example, interacting with Dyslexia Rescue content through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube may result in those platforms collecting information according to their own privacy practices.
8. Social Media and Advertising
Dyslexia Rescue maintains a presence on social-media and online advertising platforms, including Meta platforms, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
If you voluntarily contact us, submit a lead form, send us a message, or otherwise provide information through one of these platforms, we may receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond to your inquiry and administer our services.
Advertising and social-media platforms may independently collect information about users who view or interact with advertisements or content. Their collection and use of that information are governed by their respective privacy policies.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing educational services, maintaining appropriate educational and administrative records, fulfilling contractual obligations, resolving disputes, and satisfying applicable legal, accounting, tax, and ministry recordkeeping requirements.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal and legitimate recordkeeping requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who require access for legitimate organizational purposes.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Parents, guardians, and other individuals may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we maintain about them or their child.
We will respond to appropriate requests consistent with applicable law and may need to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request.
Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, contractual, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, security, educational-record, or other legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

Where applicable law imposes requirements concerning international processing or transfer of personal information, we will take reasonable steps to address those requirements.

Dyslexia Rescue and Restoring Flow Ministries are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of websites and services they choose to use.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the effective date.
Material changes will be handled as required by applicable law.
16. Governing Law
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, this Privacy Policy and matters relating to Dyslexia Rescue’s privacy practices are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States of America.
Nothing in this provision is intended to limit privacy rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal, state, or international law.
